We are delighted to once again be supporting the ESSD on the 24th September. The day is about children and young people being active across Europe and having fun, and SPAR Lancs Games resources will form part of the content that will allow this to happen. Sport England and the Youth Sport trust have recently released online resources to help young people get active. Schools can sign up to the new Studio You platform which provides PE lessons and resources aimed at getting girls more active, access this here; Studio You
The Youth Sport Trust's Active recovery hub has a multitude of resources available from SGO's, NGB's and other providers for all to access to help be active, learn new skills or get involved in challenges, access the hub here; Active Recovery Hub
Active partnerships and SGO's are to receive investment from a Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth legacy funding, to help enhance the School Games offering across Lancashire. Active Lancashire, Lancashire SGO's and our School Games board will be discussing and submitting plans to utilise this funding in the upcoming months.
