The 2022 SPAR Lancashire School Games Baton Relay saw the baton travel around the county from its starting point in West Lancashire (February) to it's final destination - Blackpool and the School Games event in July.

Each academic year, various schools across the county are randomly selected by Sport England to participate in the National Active Lives survey which provides a world leading approach to gathering data on how children engage with sport and physical activity.
